Senior Lawyer
Lauren Williams joins Wightons after recently relocating to the Surf Coast from Melbourne.
Lauren brings extensive experience in all areas of family law gained while working alongside one of Melbourne’s most sought-after accredited family lawyer specialists. She has conducted multi-day trials in both parenting and property matters in the FCFCOA and has regularly worked with many of the Victorian Bars best barristers.
Lauren has a particular interest in complex property matters, including where the assets include a business, trusts, or where there are valuation disputes or issues with evidence.
Lauren offers strategic, expert legal and compassionate advice. She is dedicated to delivering the best possible outcome for her clients in the most cost-efficient manner.
Before moving to Australia in 2017, she was admitted to practise as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. In Australia, she has focused her practise exclusively on family law where she enjoys the challenge and technicalities of litigation and building relationships with clients.
Growing up in a blended family gives her unique insight and understanding of family law clients.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys staying active, podcasts and documentaries, playing matchbox cars with her two young sons, and spending as much time as possible exploring the local beaches.
