After over 25 years of dedicated service, Sue Fridey will be retiring from her role as Director at Wightons Lawyers from 30 June 2024.  Sue is taking a well-earned break from full time legal practice, to concentrate on her family and travel.

Sue commenced her legal career at Victoria Legal Aid before joining Wightons in 1999, practising in criminal, child protection and family law.  Sue joined the partnership in 2004 and has been an instrumental part of making Wightons the exceptional legal firm that it is today.

Throughout her career, Sue has become known for her passion, commitment and strong advocacy, providing exceptional legal representation for her clients. Sue has also been a mentor and leader within the firm and we have benefited from Sue’s wisdom and guidance.

We are immensely grateful for Sue’s service and the lasting impact she has had on Wightons Lawyers. We celebrate Sue’s remarkable career and wish her the very best in this next chapter of her life.

Sue will remain part of the Wightons team, stepping into a role as Consultant with the firm from August 2024 after a well-deserved holiday.
